Complete Storyline and information about The Night House

The sudden death of her husband leaves Beth (Rebecca Hall) shaken to the core. All alone, she finds herself in the shared lake house he built for her, trying to gather herself. But then the dreams begin.

Disturbing visions haunt Beth, suggesting a supernatural presence near her. But what takes shape like a ghostly reality in the house at night loses all evidence of ghostly visitors in the daylight.

Although her friends advise her against it, the widow begins to look closely through the possessions left behind by her dead husband in order to perhaps find some answers. But what she encounters in the course of her search are secrets that deeply disturb and frighten her. (ES)
