Complete Storyline and information about Nobody
Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) is a nobody, a nobody. As a family man and husband, he’s constantly overlooked, and when life gives him a bad time, he just takes it without hitting back. Even when his own family – his teenage son Blake (Gage Munroe) and his wife Becca (Connie Nielsen) – become threatened victims of a break-in at their suburban home, he doesn’t dare defend his loved ones against the strangers.
But while after the horrific experience everyone sees Hutch as just more of a loser, the truth is that the incident has triggered something inside him. Instincts awaken that the peaceful man had no idea about before. He begins a brutal campaign against a gangster (Aleksey Serebryakov), with dark secrets and deadly abilities coming to light. Suddenly Hutch’s opponents must learn not to underestimate him, because the most inconspicuous man is sometimes the most dangerous of all.
Background & Info on Nobody
Nobody was originally scheduled to hit theaters in 2020, but was postponed several times due to the Corona pandemic.
As an action film, Nobody featured quite a bit of behind-the-scenes expertise: It was directed by Ilya Naishuller, who had attracted attention with the first-person thriller Hardcore (2015). The screenplay was penned by Derek Kolstad, who also wrote the script for the John Wick series. Also on board as producer is director (and stuntman) David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw).
In an interview, lead actor Bob Odenkirk said he spent two years training for his role in Nobody. (ES)
