Complete Story and information about Fast & Furious 9
After the last sensational ventures, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) takes it easy: He went into hiding with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and his son Brian and leads an idyllic life in the country. His family, who may not have come together through blood, but through shared motorized adventures, keeps dropping by.
But Dom’s past doesn’t care about plans for peace and quiet. A new threat emerges when enemy Cipher (Charlize Theron) puts a contract killer on the Fast & Furious crew: It’s Dom’s younger brother Jakob Toretto (John Cena) and his private army. The sibling, long believed lost and always in Dom’s shadow, becomes the ultimate threat.
To stop a conspiracy, Dom’s team must resort to everything from flying cars to magnets and old friends and foes as allies. On a trip around the world that takes her to London, Tokyo, Edinburgh, Central Africa, Azerbaijan and Tbilisi, the chosen family and blood relatives collide.
Background & information about Fast & Furious 9
Fast & Furious 9 (OT: F9) was originally supposed to appear in 2019, but was then postponed to 2020 and due to the corona pandemic to 2021. With Fast & Furious 10, the next franchise entry had long been planned.
After an actor falling out, Tyrese Gibson announced in 2017 that he would not be in the next Fast & Furious film if Dwayne Johnson was there. Johnson then decided not to appear and instead appeared in the spin-off Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw in 2019. (IT)
