Complete Storyline and information about Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

Jamie New (Max Harwood) is 16 years old and has never been able to fit in well. Instead of thinking about a “real” career in his near future, as his teachers like to call it, he only wants one thing: to become a drag queen. Because he knows he will be such a sensation.

He is supported in his dream by his mother Margaret (Sarah Lancashire) and his wonderful friends, like BFF Pritti Pasha (Lauren Patel). But not everyone in his school and around him is so open to him. Time and again, the teenager has to stand up to prejudice and endure bullying to finally make it into the spotlight. The fight to be allowed to wear a dress to the prom becomes an all-important trial of strength.
