Journal for Jordan is a film adaptation of the diary of an American officer who died in Iraq in October 2006. The officer Charles Monroe King was transferred to the crisis region before his son was born, and in this diary he recorded his experiences and memories. In it, he also tells his son how to grow up without a father. He died just a month before completing his tour of duty in the Persian Gulf.
